Cozy Coffee — Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Cozy Coffee. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

1.2 You may not use Cozy Coffee if you have been previously banned or removed from the Service, or if you are legally prohibited from using dating/matchmaking services under applicable law.

1.3 You represent that all information you provide during registration and thereafter is accurate, current, and truthful, and that you will maintain the accuracy of such information.

2. Account Registration and Security

2.1 You must create an account to use most features of Cozy Coffee. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.2 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 One person may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts, or an account on behalf of someone else without their consent, is prohibited.

3. Nature of the Service

3.1 Cozy Coffee is a platform that facilitates introductions between users based on preferences, profile information, and matching criteria. We do not guarantee compatibility, successful matches, relationships, or any particular outcome from using the Service.

3.2 We do not conduct criminal background checks or verify the identity of users beyond the verification steps described in the App (if any). You are solely responsible for exercising caution and good judgment when interacting with other users, including when meeting in person.

3.3 Safety notice: Never send money, financial details, or sensitive personal/financial information to another user. Always meet new connections in public places and inform a friend or family member of your plans. Cozy Coffee is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information, including fake photos;
• Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or abuse other users;
• Post or send sexually explicit, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory content;
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users (romance-scam behavior);
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotion of another product or service;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App's functionality or security;
• Violate any applicable UAE federal or local law, including laws relating to public morality, decency, or online conduct.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, removing content, and reporting to law enforcement, for any violation of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

5.1 Cozy Coffee offers free and paid subscription tiers ("Premium Features"). Pricing and features for each tier are described in the App at the time of purchase.

5.2 Payments are processed through [Apple App Store / Google Play / third-party payment processor]. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.3 Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings or in-app settings.

5.4 Refunds: Except where required by UAE consumer protection law or the policies of the applicable app store, all payments are non-refundable, including for partial subscription periods or unused Premium Features.

5.5 We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle following notice, and continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

6. User Content

6.1 You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, bio, messages, etc.) ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Cozy Coffee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

6.2 You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

6.3 We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, design, and content on the App (excluding User Content) are the property of Cozy Coffee or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.

8. Termination

8.1 You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

8.2 We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unsafe behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion.

8.3 Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Certain provisions (e.g., limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that matches or interactions will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cozy Coffee and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users, whether online or in person.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cozy Coffee from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any third party's rights.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Dubai / Abu Dhabi / relevant Emirate], UAE, or resolved via arbitration under [insert applicable arbitration center, e.g., DIAC], as elected by Cozy Coffee.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
